October 2007 – present
Canadian Century Research Infrastructure (CCRI/IRCS) at York University-Data Entry Operator/Research Assistant, Toronto, ON.
Working in this academic environment has improved my analytical and research skills, enabling me to collect a high volume of relevant newspaper articles with minimal training time.  As a data entry operator, my ability to enter and decipher different forms of data with speed and accuracy compliments my strong desire to perform above standard.  My ability to adapt to a number of different tasks in both academic and administrative situations at CCRI is proof of my strong desire to learn and succeed within a particular work environment.

May 2007 – September 2007
Canada’s Wonderland-Cash Coordinator/Vault Teller, Vaughan, ON.
In this position, I succeeded many of my fellow coordinators in the necessary elements of the job, and was advanced to the position of “Vault Teller.”  In this role, I was expected to act as a leader, and project my job knowledge of centre policies and procedures to my peers.  My abilities to run the vault smoothly, verifying correctly and balancing on a regular basis made me a definite asset to the department.  This fast-paced, high-stress position has strengthened my physical and emotional being, and has definitely aided me in how difficult situations should be dealt with in the workplace.

April 2004 – August 2006 (Summers)
Home Hardware Stores Ltd-Material Handler, St. Jacobs, ON.
I worked at the main distribution centre which supplied all the Home Hardware stores in Ontario and parts of Quebec.  I was quick to learn the ins and outs of all basic warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, picking and packing orders and loading boxes onto a maze of conveyor belts.  I was highly valued by my elders for my agility in many of the different departments, which led to my advancement in being chosen to work on different machines such as the carousel, which allowed me to pick orders for a maximum of eight stores at a time.
